I tow a 11200 lb 5th wheel trailer with a 2500 Dodge/Cummins. I'm 200-300 lbs over GVWR but the trucks 6000 rawr comes in at 5200-5400 lbs depending on how much we load the rig.
I added super springs to the rear of this truck as it has no upper overload spring pack. Don't add anything till you load the rig and make a short trip. Then is the time to decide if bags are needed.
The truck won't have any issues towing that size trailer.
