There's a thread over on the Jayco forum where guys are telling a newbie that his 32 BHDS (my camper) will be a questionable load for a Ram 2500 (my truck). I got raked over the coals for telling him he'd be fine.
Some folks are unwilling or unable to understand the reason behind some of the ratings on these trucks. Don't sweat it - there's a big difference between the RV.net reality and, well, reality. For all practical purposes the three popular full size trucks people buy in this country are half tons, SRW HDs and DRW HDs. There are midsize trucks below and MDT/HDTs above, but most trucks sold fall into the three aforementioned categories.
