High hitching occurs when you have the 5er raised too high when hitching up and the king pin rides up on top off the clamp instead off going fhru it. The bottom of the pin box plate should always be about an inch below the top of the hitch plate when you back into the hitch. That way the pin box will ride up and onto the hitch plate ensuring the pin goes fhru the latch mechanism.
