About twelve years or so ago, I pulled into a truck stop for fuel after driving about three hundred miles. When I left, I got about a mile when my rig pulled away from the hitch. SOMEONE had pulled the handle and I failed to check.
After that I bout some small pin locks for the four on the flour and put a padlock on the release handle, also two on the hitch to cradle. No problems after that. You should be able to find the hitch plate type locks on the internet.
Found them. They are $13.00 at Etrailer: https://www.etrailer.com/Locks/Reese/RP58093.html Buy four padlocks that have one key and your good to go.
