Any nice new 5th wheels that have cloth furniture

We would like to get a bigger 5th wheel around 35 foot and this time have opposing slides in the living area for more room. We like our current Cougar and like the cloth furniture. It's held up well and your legs don't stick to it. My wife is always cold so she doesn't like vinyl or leather. Seems like every camper we've looked in the past few months is the cheap leather/vinyl.
Does any manufacture still offer cloth furniture ?

I blame Ricardo Montoban...Fine Corinthian Leather

Honestly other than being able to say it's leather, it's about as bad as vinyl.

It was all in the delivery!
Corinthian leather was the lowest grade and normally deemed too thin and flawed for furniture. It was mostly used for gloves.
    Until Ricardo smooshed us.
  • If you are buying new, most brands have the option to get cloth upholstery, so on a special order you should have your choice, if buying off the lot, I think all the dealers go for the leather/vinyl because many see it as a plus.

  • When we ordered our Jayco 5th wheel, we had a choice of a leather substitute or cloth. I ordered the cloth furniture. I also don't like the stickiness of "leather" or the cold touch.

Take a look at VanLeigh Vilano 5ers. We purchased a 2019 320GK a little over a year ago. Love the beautiful woodwork. Also love the Franklin furniture. Microfiber and very comfortable.

Interesting. I didn't know Tiffin made 5th wheels.

  • The last 2 RV shows we went to, I do not remember any cloth furniture?

You can either buy the floor plan and RV you like and purchase cloth furniture separate.. OR you can have the new furniture recovered.. OR you can do what we do, IF my wife is cold she lays a knit blanket over the seats before relaxing.
  • No comment on the cloth furniture, but if you are considering a new 5er with opposing slides in the living area, take a look at the front living room models before you settle on a rear living room models.

Our Montana has the front living room (upper floor), kitchen in the middle, and bedroom in the rear. The living room and kitchen are open, no full walls separating the upper area from the lower area. The difference in temperature (heat and air conditioning) is not an issue either. And if you purchase a model that has the front (nose cap) full window, with the opposing slides, you've got windows all directions.

Anyway, it's a floor plan to consider before settling on another rear living room model, at least take a look.

    Good luck.
