- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII think MeAgain likes the 250's and has had good luck with them.
- carpetguy2ExplorerDon't have no Costco around.
Duravis 250 or 500s.
Or is the 500 overkill - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIGo to Costco and install a set of Bridgestone E rated tires. Forget the Chicom junk!
- carpetguy2ExplorerI have 6k.lb axels.Pretty sure my rims won't hold that 110 psi.
Thanks for the input - JIMNLINExplorer IIIMy equipment trailer mfg was using the Taskmaster Provider ST as OEM tires. They dropped them after about 18 months when commercial customers on the road complained of belt separations and resulting shredded tires after 8k-10k miles.
I had the Taskmaster Providers ST235/85-16 E on a new 12k car hauler (6k axles). I sold them on CL and had Firestone Transforce HT in the LT235/85-16 E put on.
I would look at the commercial grade Sailun S637 in a LT235/85-16 G at 3750 lbs and 110 psi. These ties are a all steel ply carcass and very popular on trailers with 7k axles. These tires will get you away from china made st tires and their issues.
