2011 F-450 84000 KM's 68000 of them towing, Love it. Only repairs, they put a kit in the diff (Dana 80) developed some minor noises while turning, and a exhaust temp sensor recall. All the new diesels use a very high pressure injection pump all are sensitive to fuel comtamination does not matter which of the big Three. keep up on the maintenece check you fuel when travelling and enjoy! I loved my 7.3 but would never go back.
Glad to hear you are happy with your truck. One correction for you is that Ram still utilizes the Bosch CP3 high pressure fuel pump, not the CP4 that Ford and GM utilize. The CP3 has proven over time to be much more reliable, and not nearly as prone to damage from contamination.
BTW, I loved my 1996 7.3L too but unfortunately we were overloading it when we upgraded fifth wheels. I reluctantly sold it and then made the mistake of buying a 6.0L diesel, but that`s a whole different story :B
