Anybody Towing A Wide Body 5th Wheel With Short Bed?

I pulled my 102" signature 5ver from 2/2009 - 8/2017 with my 2008 GMC D/A 2500, which had a short box. We did have a manual slider, but NEVER used it even when the trailer was near 90deg. Our trailer is "wedged" in the front, which helps a lot.

You may want to consider a blue ox bed saver. For $250 bucks you will have the insurance of not having to worry about dropping the pin in your truck bed, or through the tailgate.

WE have a trailair pin, which is nice.

We now have a full length dually.
