I tow my Momentum which is 102" wide with a '17 F-350 saw crew cab short bed and it tows just fine. I use an Andersen hitch and can make a 90 degree turn, but just barely. With the Andersen hitch, you can mount the pin adapter either in front of or behind the pin to get the clearance you need.
Nice Toy Hauler! :)
From what I've *read* long Pin Boxes can take advantage of mounting the adapter to the rear to keep the Pin Box from damaging the side bed-rails.
I've also found a couple of guys who run a 4" offset ball in the bed, to move the hitch back, and then run the Pin Adapter to the rear to bring the pin forward the 4".
I *think* the success of this would really be application dependent, as the load center in the truck is still shifted back.
I believe you are only be able to get the 4" offset to fit for the B&W turnover ball. The shank for the B&W is square and the factory holes are round. Can you imagine the mess you would have with a 4" offset with a round pin. There would be nothing to keep a round one from moving to the side or even to the front. No way to control it.
If you have a B&W turnover ball mount setup then you would be good to go.
This IMO
