Welcome to RV.net!
There are a couple things that seem to keep these from being real popular; the exposed deck and the rear slide out bed.
It seems like the rear slide outs have stuck around but never really taken off. We had an Outback that we liked a lot. But in cool weather the rear bed could be a bit chilly and I personally hated crawling into be usually over my wife. That said you got more camper in a shorter length.
The front deck models seem have have never taken off. Saw them on pop up's a lot. Part of the reason might be they tend to put a lot of weight on the hitch. Keep in mind that toy haulers are never light weight so make sure you have a truck that can handle the trailer and toys plus all the stuff you take camping. If you are taking just one ATV you should be fine, but play with the placement so you get the proper weight on the hitch without overloading it.
Having hauled our ATVs on a open deck trailer I personally recommend dropping a few bucks and buying the trucker style 2" straps.
