Just a thought but I would wait on the 1000 until Polaris comes out with a fix for the belts everyone is blowing-
Have a good buddy who has gone through 6 belts- all on hard pack desert terrain. The last one that blew caught fire and burned up his housing. Took 8 weeks for Polaris to get to the dealership and agree to cover the repair and the last incident was after they did the helix upgrade to his unit.
I own two Polaris vehicles so I am not against them at all but I wouldn't think of buying a 1000 until they figure out a decent fix.
