I have a RZR 1000-4 and have put about 400 mi on it with no problems as of yet. First trip was to Moab crawling over stuff and the second trip was a 200 mi ride north into Idaho and back, some of which was steep long climb and abit of busting through snow drifts.either time was not easy on it.
The RZR 1000 really reminds me of the Ford 6.0- Everyone (owners, dealers, mfg. ...) knows there is a problem but just can't/won't admit it.
Hopefully you continue to have great luck with your unit- However, make sure you always have an extra belt and an 8 mil socket with extension handy. Over Spring break the vendors at Glamis could have sold 1000 belts if they had them.
Maybe its just me but I don't think it makes good sense to add 400 lbs, 2" bigger wheels, and 20 HP to a RZR and ask it to run the same belt/drivetrain as a 900.
