If I was in the exact same situation, I would get the floor plan I like the most, with the best utilized space for daily living. On the weekends I had my daughter, I would give her the bedroom and sleep on the couch. It is only two days, gives her the privacy she might need, and shows her that how she feels is important to me. Additionally, I would have a stash of her stuff in a cuby hole or under the bed that is pulled out when she is there so it feels more like 'home.' This could be a pillow, stuffed animals, whatever. This would show her she has a 'permanent' space in my life. Kids don't necessarily need dedicated space, they just need to know they are welcome and important.
