- wanderingaimlesExplorer5yrs old by the code on the tires? or the age of the RV?
Either way, at 5 years you are nearing the end of their time. 5 years is all I look for from tires and i believe most others will agree, especially if you are looking at an active season with some heavier/longer hauls. - cummins2014ExplorerIMO , and the history of the G614 , I wouldn't want to push them much further. Some will have differing opinions, but can't escape the reputation of the G614. 5 years on that tire, and although I didn't try to get into that link, I have heard heard of unusual wear on the G614 , its been a common complaint .
A Sailun thread on this forum that was recently shut down, has a picture of a lot newer G614 with a blowout, take a look.
