Some things you can change yourself after purchase, some you can't.
Obviously you can't change the kitchen or bedroom.
You *can* change the layout and seating.
We removed the hide-a-bed.
Replaced the factory swivel recliners with recliners we preferred.
(Neck twisters to look at the TV - now we face it).
Replaced the square table and 4 chairs with a drop leaf table & 2 chairs - when leaves are down, about 1/2 the space, relocated to where the hide-a-bed was.
In process of changing out the "garish" valances that belonged in one of Ali Babba's hangouts.
Interior designers and decorators leave a *LOT* to be desired!..:(
Get at least *close* to what you like - keep in mind the stuff you can modify (if you desire) and the things you can't..;)
