Are Your Trailer Tires Balanced?

I don't believe that balancing is a waste of money. An unbalanced tire will bounce on a trailer the same as it will bounce on your vehicle. Why would you not want a tire spinning nice and smooth without vibrating and shaking everything in your trailer and wearing out your suspension and tires prematurely.
If you don't want to spend any cash balancing your tires then don't change your oil, coolant ,filters or anything that maintains your vehicle. Enjoy driving your junk down the road !

What have you got to lose? We balance all our high speed tires. Good even wear, no vibration on the rig, wear on the suspension. Cheap insurance.

Mine are balanced.

Don't know about the original Chinese ST tires that I replaced after one year. But the LTs I put on are balanced. An unbalanced tire on a trailer can ride as rough as an unbalanced tire on the tow vehicle.

Nope waste of money

I wonder if I took my wheels in to be balanced if they would just hub balance them or use a pin plate as required for Lug Centric balancing.. Not knowing what a pin plate was I looked it up and a set of four is around $1500! Which is why I don't think I have seen them at a tire shop...

Tire store I went to said save your money as with the load that is on them they don't need it. Guy had been doing tires for 25 years big farm trailers to utility's.

Bought a new trailer in the spring. Took it straight to the tire shop and had the China bombs replaced with some high quality tires. They balanced them. Their recommendation.
