Artic Fox

I have heard that quality of these units dropped for several years due to health issues with owner. Not sure that is true but I am looking at a 2007 model 235.

Any information or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bob
  • Ron Nash had a stroke, but his wife Sheri runs the compan. Quality is still good, but maybe a bit down.
  • The chinese couldn't build a good solid cannonball unless some company sits on them and makes them do it right. Left to their own means, buyer beware.
  • Me and my wife know that someday we may want to downsize. I've been looking at Artic Fox at the dealers and Internet. To be honest, I'm impressed wth Artic Fox, and it's got my attention. After so many good R.V. Manufactures like Hitchiker, Carriage, And Ecel going out of business, it's getting harder and harder to find a good, quality R.V. Artic Fox is looking better and better. Maybe the Chinese, Koreans or Japanese will come out with some good R.V's???
  • We love our 2011 Arctic Fox 22H. Bought it used in 2013, excellent condition. We have used it extensively in all seasons and it remains in excellent condition. Of course I don't know about 2007 models.
  • At that age, how well it has been maintained is really important.

Other then that, you should have no issues.

That being said, my perception (I've owned multiple models of Northwoods since 1999) that there has been no decline in the last few years.
  • Northwood had some delam issues early on with their aluminum frames. But I think that was a thing of the past by 2007. Codition and signs of water leaks are always paramount with any used RV.
