- I've had a Desert Fox 21SW, and downsized to an Arctic Fox 811 truck camper.
Both have been trouble free from the factory. Both were purchased new.
I think the dealer fired up the water heater on AC power with an empty tank while doing the PDI, and it burned up the heating element on the truck camper. That's the only problem I've had with it, and it was easier for me to fix it on my own. Old Duck wrote:

What does this phrase mean? - RollandBExplorerThanks for the info my fellow Duck buddy! That makes sense.
- goducks10ExplorerBrake issues are not the fault of NWood or any other rv builder. Its either a Lippert or Dexter issue. NWood just installs pre assembled axles on their frames.
- RollandBExplorerWe've had out Arctic Fox a little over a month, two trips, one weekend and one 16 day trip. We are happy with the overall quality and features, but would say they are not a mine to some sloppy assembly work from the production line. In the short time we've had it we found problems with how some full extension drawer slides with issues in how they were mounted and one seal on a brake drum damaged (dented and easy to see) from the install that caused the grease to go everywhere. Even with these issues I'd still buy one again and have no regrets.
- LFishExplorerWe have been very happy with the quality of our trailer manufactured by Northwood (maker of Arctic Foxes).
- elidodgeExplorerI have talked with Kelly before,I think you should at least call them and give them a chanch to repair your trailer.Dont condem them because of one employ. I am also sure if you call ArcticFox I am sure they will help you!
- Dr__BlakeExplorerWe have really enjoyed our Arctic Fox. As others have said they are heavy; we had a half ton Tundra and replaced it with a heavy duty because the half ton was at it limit.
Quality has been really good, we didn’t have the mess that some others seem to have had and I did pull apart under our stove to fix a minor electrical issue. The a/c plugg had slipped out of our converter; I presume because it rattled out.
The only issue we had that actually frustrated me was the propane line where the flex hose and the steel pipe connect together actually broke from fatigue. I think the parts were stressed because the factory didn’t do a very good job aligning the connection; cracking and ultimately breaking. I think it had been leaking propane for some time before it broke which is a safety issue.
Great trailers overall and I would get another one.
