Atwood furnace

Tried the furnace today and just one click then nothing. Changed the circuit board last year due to it being wet and now nothing. Checked fuses thermostat and propane everything good.
  • Just had an issue with my Atwood furnace. Initial indication (fault light blinks once every 3 seconds) was that it was a limit switch. Called a mobile RV repairman (this guy was awesome) and it turned out to be a rusted out burned. I had him replace the limit switch and the sail switch while he was in there. Thought he could do it while the furnace was in place,, turns out he had to pull it. Heat works now.

FYI: Turns out a mobile repairman costs about 50% less than your major RV shops for labor.
  • On newer models there should be an led indicator. If the blower turns freely, odds are it's a stuck closed sail switch. If the board sees the sail switch closed without the blower running, it will lock out..
  • Does the fan run, if not, you have a wasp nest built in the heat exchanger.
