I went back to the storage area last night to have a look and to check to make sure the king pin wasn't buried in the dirt. Found the front landing gear had dropped almost 3 inches in a 24 hour period. I contacted Lippert on the phone and talked to Taylor, he told me to check the screw on the valve on the LG. I checked and made sure it was fully backed out. Hooked up the trailer and ran all cylinders in the fluid level was perfect. I looked at all cylinders visible and cannot see any signs of leaks. The guys at Lippert seem to think we have a cylinder bypassing inside. I went back at lunch today and found it had only dropped 3/4 inch in about 18 hours.
I agree we should take it back to the dealer, however it has been there 4 weeks in the total 6 weeks we have owned it. I also have a big trip coming up in a couple of weeks that has been planned for a very long time, that I do not want to have to cancel because the dealer is backed up, or cannot fix our unit in a timely manner.
Thanks again for the help, I plan to remove some oil from the reservoir and add fork oil tonight and see what happens.
