I agree.
I have seen them on so many brands of RV's and most of the higher end units seem to offer them as standard equipment.
We had our Big Foot Leveling system installed on our 1996 Carriage in 2010 and just love them. It took less than a day and we have been virtually trouble free since then. I'm sure that every product out there will find someone saying they had problems or weren't happy but I don't think that would be the majority of users. If a product is "bad" or is too much of a hassle, people stop buying it and the company goes under. At least that's how I feel about it.
I also agree that you can always check with the manufacturer to see if they can "add" it. The worst then can say is no. Hugs, Di

OP must not be looking very hard or is looking at only entry level fivers, as just about all MFRs are now offering some type of auto-leveling system once you get above the enty level units.
As for $2000 to get it added to a new purchase, Cheap as it will run at least two times that amount to have it done aftermarket.
