With our unit if we're too far out of level the read-out will tell me I'm not level AND it will indicate "out of stroke" which means I need to lower the trailer back down onto the ground, put blocking under the low side and re-hit the auto-level button again. That's always worked for us, when "level" has been achieved our read-out says "success". We power the system down and begin the rest of set up. Just that simple.
