Automate 5th Wheel

I am trying to find out any information on a 1989 Automate 5th Wheel,
Vin #1NA2JFW20KL005803. So far I have been unsuccessful. If any one
has any advice for me please help.

    The VIN will probably not give you any history as to damage, repairs etc.
    Most documentation was by each maker of the various components for example the fridge would have its own manual, the toilet its own, the furnace etc. A good place to start looking for the manuals etc would be

    The nice part is that most likely all the appliances etc were stock off the shelf units.

  • Operating in the state of California, Auto Mate started in 1970 as a builder of travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers as well as Class A and Class C motorhomes. Dealing exclusively with vacation trailers after axing their motorhome business for the 1986 model year, Auto Mate operated as a factory direct recreational vehicle producer after 1991. After four decades of production, Auto Mate concluded business after the 2004 model year.


    They started back up in 2012 but unsure IF still in production
