I might be worried about the weight in a 250, but this is my simple solution that cost me 1/4 to 1/5 of what the fancy auto feed systems cost
I installed this 95 gallon tank in my Dodge dually 350 last summer in less than an hour

I got it on sale an am guessing that if I remember correctly it was under $800 maybe even as low as $700 including the pump. My memory could be wrong but I am pretty sure it was not as much as the advertised price
When I am low I pop open the hood and clamp the pumps electric wire using the same type clamp used in jumper cables.
The pump is rated at 15 gallons per minute so when I am low I pump about 90 seconds worth of fuel. It isn't fancy with a digital read out but by timing the pump to 60, 90 or 120 seconds I have a pretty close idea how much fuel was pumped then subtract it from 95 so I know how much is remaining in the tank
