awning accesories
Has anyone has one of those awning shades? I seen them on amazon for around forty dollars...are they worth it to help block the weather. Just want someone else input..:)

They will definitely keep the sun out and make it much cooler underneath as long as the wind is blowing in the other direction and they will keep the rain from coming in unless it is windy, then the rain will come right through it....it is mesh.
I have one that I made. I purchased the mesh fabric at Walmart a couple of years ago and installed grommets to hang it from the awning. I use the same awning hooks that I have the lights hanging from and then use "balled" bungee cords on the bottom to stretch it out and tent hooks to stake it
We use it on occasion, but not everytime we camp.
Do you have a photo that you could show, please. I like to make what I can rather than buy it, thanks!
