awning accesories
Has anyone has one of those awning shades? I seen them on amazon for around forty dollars...are they worth it to help block the weather. Just want someone else input..:)

We made a screen for our awning, Home depot has the stuff you will need. The screen we used is the screen they use to enclose a porch, we used 1/4 inch screen retaining spline to sew into the top seam so the screen would slide into the tube. All the edges were double seamed and brass grommets were use in the lower corners and 2 in the middle. We use bungee cords to screw in stakes to keep it from blowing around.
