Awning Protection

Thanks for warning me about awning repair tape and also for giving me some great ideas. The metal cover solutions look really good but I think the Bus Kote and Eternabond solutions are the most practical for my application and I will probably choose between those two. The suggested styrene pipe solution is good but for me it would not protect the first inch of material where the awning is connected. And yes, it's a shame I could not continue to use my old plastic gutter solution but without that installed gutter strip above the awning-that inch or so of material would still be exposed to the elements.
