Axle Alignment
Both tires on the door side of my trailer are showing are showing quite a bit of wear on the outside two inches. The tires on the other side are wearing perfectly. I have one small slide on the door ...

As B.O. indicates, look up a good heavy vehicle and trailer alignment shop. They will be able to find the root cause, and correct it with the minimum cost to you. And you will save that money in less tire wear.
And do stay away from RV shops. Again B.O. is correct. They will sell you a new axle. And the labor to install it. But still will not be able to align it properly. Most of them simply do not have the equipment to make accurate alignments.
The trailer axles are cambered with bend. The tires will not wear evenly until they are loaded near the maximum. Then the axles will be straight then. Outside tire wear on a trailer that is not heavy loaded is normal.
