Axles
This may sound pretty basic......but I'm wondering how you determine axle rating (5K vs 6K) on a trailer? If looking at a manufacturer's website and they don't list that for a particular fifth-wheel...

Correct. My axles are actually 5k, but down-rated to 4200k by the RV mfgr. That caused me some difficulty when I needed to replace by brake backing plate assemblies, but a call to e-trailer.com resolved the issue.
