A fifth wheel starts its turn slower but once under way it turns quick. Pull farther ahead than you think to start your turn and once it starts turning be ready to chase it in to where you want it to go. Also, don't look at the rear of the fiver look at it's tires, the rear will go where the tires are.
A good set of radios helps to communicate with your wife who I assume is spotting you and make sure you can always see her in your mirror.. Don't be afraid to pull forward as many times as it takes to get into your site.
Lastly, find a large parking lot, get some orange cones or five gallon buckets and spend a day practicing your backing. It takes time but after two years I can get mine into most spots on the first or second try.
