Essentially the road curves to the right, I will have to pass the pad and back in to my right. The shrubs are beyond the pad entry over grown on the right, and the drop off is on my left.
Someone mentioned the 'S', this actually seems, in theory to be an excellent plan, at least in my head it really seems to make sense.
If worst comes to worst, we will trade my inlaws pad for ours. they are just significantly shorter, which means i will have to park my vehicle elsewhere, which i'd rather not do.
I'm going to just go for our spot, if i can't get in, well, i can't get in. I need the practice with the larger RV anyhow, so it'll get done one way or the other.
I was hoping for tips, and i got a bunch as usual here.
Thanks again.
Please report back as to how it went for you.
I was going to. Unfortunately, the news is bad. It was a problem.
I over thought it after getting lined up the way i wanted, i thought i was golden, but couldnt see past the shrubbery. I pulled forward yet again had the wife get the dog out of the truck. Tried again.
All the stories about the fw turning to much once it started happened for the first time. I couldnt recover. Pulled out again, this time i ended up getting the front of my truck down the ditch in the opposite side.
My cap contacted my bed cover, and chipped about an inch worth of damage.
I basically ended up bringing the camper in way over to the door side of the pad, had to pull forward about 90 times to get into the far side of the pad.
It was a mess. Our son was crying, i was mad, embarrassed, damaged. I hate looking amateur. Weve done thousands of miles, years of weekends, and never a mess like this.
Live and learn. I overthought it, caused a worse problem.
Ill post my damage when we get back home.
Thanks for all the help though, it really is valuable.
Going from 35' of tt to 42' of fw has been a rough exchange so far.
Should be a good story.
