If you have never seen the slick clay, go up on the back roads above Hickory in the rain. I had a 4x4 Land Rover Discovery that had made the Alaska trip twice without incident slide sideways into a ditch. 4 hours, 2 comealongs, and a NFS pickup later and we finally got it back up on the (slick, clay) road.
I have a 2005 F-250 with a 6.0 diesel. It ran great for 96,000 miles.
The FW is a 2005 Keystone Everest, 34 footer.
My little brother has a fwd dodge and pulled me out of the ditch with no problem. He unhooked the tow line and the truck wouldn't move. He ended up towing me to the top of the hill. Funny thing. When I slid into the ditch it caused my wiring problems to correct themselves.
