Battery Swap

We will be getting our new to us Keystone Everest tomorrow and one of the things the dealer found and corrected was that the two group 34 AGM batteries were bad so he replaced them with one group 27 deep cycle. Our current trailer has two group 27 marine/rv deep cycles. Is this a good deal or would we be better off with two group 34 deep cycles? There is no room for two 27's.

  • something sounds real fishy,,, new agm,s bad???? the dealer could turn them in and get you new ones, the ONE BATTERY he is giving you is about 85 bucks compared to two agm,s about 400. bucks. tell him you,ll do the replace ment on the batteries. in my opinion he,s conning you out of those AGM.s .
  • Just something to consider...if you never boon-dock and always have hookups, you don't need two batteries...
