Best deals on Grand Design RV's?

We're thinking of buying a Grand Design RV. Does anybody have a recommendation on where to get the best deal on one out west? It looks like LazyDays in AZ has some decent prices. Any other recommendations? I've heard people say we should be able to get 25%-30% off MSRP but our local dealer will only do 15%.

Where did you buy yours from?
  • We got about 30% off the GD MSRP on our Reflection - but would have purchased from that dealer even if the deal hadn't been that good. It's worth a lot to buy from a dealer you know and trust. We like the RV we purchased, but we REALLY like how our dealer has taken care of us after the sale.
  • I just purchased from Paul Evert's in Coburg, Oregon. I got a bit more then 25% off MSRP and they installed a fifth wheel hitch in my truck for part of the deal.
  • MSRP is easy to get. Grand Design has an app with the prices for the base trailer and all options for each model. In addition, some dealers include the "window sticker" on their web sites which shows the options and prices.
  • And in the real world the only price that really matters is one the buyer is happy with. Do your homework and go from there.
  • Do you know what the MSRP is for the RV ? Many times dealers just make up a number out of thin air. I think on the G.D. Facebook site, someone had gotten the actual MSRP's from GD. Either that or the GD Owners site. Once you ahve that information, then you'll know if your getting a good deal or the shaft.
  • That's a great price. Good job! Chris asked what I was looking to pay for the Reflection 318. I told him 28% off MSRP. He quoted me 15% off and said that was the best he could do. Of course, he also said he would beat anybody on price.

The dealer in Redmond only offered me 15% off MSRP. You must have got a salesman who was willing to deal!

Don't know why, I don't think it was quite 30% off MSRP as I don't know that number, but I do know it was fresh on the lot and not sitting around for a long time with lots of foot traffic or RV shows. It was the best quoted price and the salesman was Chris. Only talked to him on the phone and E-mail. Sent down a deposit and set up a PDI date for this next Monday.

  • We are heading to Redmond Or. this weekend to pick up our new Reflection pull trailer as they gave us the best deal around.
