Best method for jacking up 5er
Recently purchased used 5th wheel (first one) and wanted to jack it up to pull wheels and inspect brakes. I was told by an RV mechanic to leave it hitched and than jack it up. Less strain on 5er frame...

Has anyone ever used their Hydraulic leveling System? I did once to change a tire at my storage space. I simply used the manual override to bring the entire unit up pretty high. Then I just tilted the fiver to the left until the wheels were about a half-inch off the ground. Worked pretty slick.
Just did that at Discount Tires for a new set of tires. 5th wheel stayed hooked up to truck. Seemed to work ok.
