My 39' fifth wheel has 19 1/2 feet of storage before I enter into kitchen. To get that and any reasonable living space with a garage the trailer would need to be 50' long. Most garage units are 10-12' with some at 14'. Some are larger but they are long and really heavy. Many people with a dune buggy have to use the open (no garage) units. Hope that clears it up.
Plus, I can set up pins and bowl in mine
Big buford, what 5th wheel do you have?? - 2500_GruntExplorer

We also were or are considering the 27' Attitude and the 28 and 32' Attitude 5th's. The missus likes the 5th's but the pictures of the Amped has her interested. Since we will be going to Ohio soon to visit family I think we'll stop at the factory for a closer look.
Thanks 2500!

Sure! Let us know what you think if/when you check them out. - Dwight45ExplorerWe also were or are considering the 27' Attitude and the 28 and 32' Attitude 5th's. Eclipse / Attitude Toyhaulers
We had a 2013 Attitude 28AKLG. Great toyhauler until our toys out grew it then we traded it off. If I ever downsized out toys then I would look at another one.
_ - TRazzoExplorerLast fall we bought a used Eclipse 27 IFBG toy hauler. I haul a quad, which I could carry in the bed of a pickup (since it isn't a 5th wheel) but there are several nice things about a toy hauler. The big back loading door is awesome to have open if you are backed up to the ocean or a lake, you get a great view and with the screen back there, it is awesome. Also we have a walk around queen bed up front, a decent sized bathroom and we can sleep up to 10 if we wanted (as long as a couple were kids). The only drawback I see is the dinette barely fits 4 if 2 were kids, but you could put another folding table in front of one of the 2 couch's to seat more at dinner time. Built in Gennie is awesome too. I too would assume that a non garage hauler is one without the wall separating the toy area from the living area.

2500 grunt,
Have you used your Amped yet? It looks like one I might be interested in. Do you have any feedback about it? I would also like to be able to use my truck bed. I'm downsizing from a big 5th to a smaller 5th or bumper pull. The Amped looks good.
Thanks

I only have one dune trip in it so far (about 500 miles) but really like it. It tows great and has a lot of things that no other TT has in this price range. We dry camp a lot so the 176 gal of water is huge for us. The entire outside is the same as a fifth wheel as far as storage goes except the LP tanks are over the tongue. Led interior lights, 4 bay battery tray, battery disconnect switch, high, curved interior ceiling, step up into the bedroom (just like a FW), roomy walk in shower and bath, bedroom is completely separate from rest of trailer with shut door, 2 separate fuel tanks (40 gal toy tank and 18 gal. genny tank), upgraded stereo with sub and flashing led interior lights, 8' ramp door not 7' like most others, upper cabinets have mesh storage for above them and outside controller with speakers, exterior gas stub for grill, full walk on roof. Feels just like a fifth wheel on the inside and exterior storage is the same if not more than a fifth wheel AND...I still have my 8' truck bed for stuff which is huge for me. In the shop for warranty work. Microwave did not work and awning has a seam tear in it but that's a Lippert product. Dealer here in Phoenix is doing a great job for me! Paid $43000 for it. I've been looking for about a year and a half at toy haulers and this is the first TT TH of it's kind especially with the "Z frame technology". I have ran it over the scales and it came in at 13000k Gross which is just under my truck's GVWR so it's a perfect match. I was about to pull the trigger on the Attitude 32' FW b/c it had 16' of storage and it was light weight but the Attitudes and the Stellar's to me seemed like just an average Chevy type TH and I was going to lose my truck bed to a FW hitch. Looked at the Sand Sport ones too but they are too pricey for what they are offering. - Dwight45Explorer2500 grunt,

Dwight - sin_cal_hdExplorerIf your buddy is in the Central Valley send him to toy hauler liquidators. They have both Atittude and Stellar.

Eclipse which is Stellar and Atitude have real nice "open floor plan" with real nice cabinetry and close to the Ww Cr floorplan
Forestriver has a few open floor plans that are similar to Eclipse.
The higher end your looking at Cylcone and Inferno.I think Dutchmen has one as well.
He's looking for a new Toy Hauler in the 35' range. So far the Attitude is the only one I've found. - 2500_GruntExplorerI just bought one of these (fs 28):http://www.goevergreenrv.com/page/266/Amped
Different than any other one that I have seen out there. Looks like a fifth wheel on the inside with the 2 steps up and into the bed room but it's a TT TH. And I still get to use my 8' bed for other toys.
