or put some water in the toilet and it will show you level.

I LOL at that! Not sure if you meant it that way. I'm trying to think of the joke that I know is in there somewhere.
I guess it could work if you filled the bowl all the way to the top.
No joke. I used a water level for years to install kitchen cabinets as well as other things I did. I want our fifth to be slightly higher in the front and slightly lower on the drivers side.
I can add a little water to the bowl and see if I did it correct but use a different method to get there. The water tests me. Sometimes I flunk.

After owning 1 PUP and 3 different TT's, I've learned that no two objects in any camper are ever level at the same time. The first time you attempt to "level" so you can install a bubble level somewhere, YOU have to decide what is most important to get "level". It might be the stove top (you can't have eggs sliding to one side of the pan now, can you?) It might be the refrigerator (you can't have your beer falling out now, can you?) It might be your bathroom door (you can't have your ... "you know" falling out the door, can you). It might be the bed (you can't have the wife falling off the side now, can you?). You get the idea? Pick your spot, get it level, then put your attached bubble where you want it. (I prefer to fix my eggs outside on my griddle. I take a lot of time making sure it's level on the picnic table. I cut a bunch of shems out of 1/4 inch playwood I put under the legs of the griddle to get it level and use a small carpenter's level before I plug it in). The trailer, as long as "I" don't slide off the bed ... that's good enough!
