Best Side Wall/Lamiante Quality ??
I have a 2008 Palomino Sabre, and it is about time to move on. I have had a few minor delamination on the side walls, but due to my Military fiberglass experience I have repaired those areas. I know that these are a sign of more problems. My question here is...Have the manufacturing processes gotten any better in the last 10 yrs?
I see some are Bonded, fiberglass, some are filron, and some are Aluminum. I know from my aviation experience that bonding to Foam is not 100% and eventually fails. I also see from my repairs that they use 1/8" plywood between the filron and foam. OK until it gets wet and it separates and rots. However I have found that water is not the only thing that causes delamination's. Heat will degrade the foam and glue.
Ok I know I'm getting to technical here so I'll cut to the chase. Which Brands of 5th wheel have you guys had the best luck with when it comes to the exterior walls and delamination problems?
