I figured with the cruise on it was not giving full throttle so I put it to the floor and it made no difference. So the fact is with the cruise set to lets say 60 the truck will try it's best to maintain that speed and it will give full throttle. I do use the paddle shifter to drop a gear before the speeds drops enough for it to drop a gear it's self. I can se the hills coming before the computer can.
