What is the best truck for towing 16,000 lb 5th wheel. I have been looking at the Dodge 2500 Cummins and the ford 250. not sure What do you think

My gas dually is right at it's towing numbers. I have plenty of weight capacity and it does a right fine job with a 13,500 gross 5er.
If you can afford the dismal fuel mileage a gasser will provide. Over 10k lbs. dry weight, diesel is the way to go.
When you get into a 16k fifth wheel, dual wheel 1 tons are even marginal. For me, it'd be a true medium size truck comparable to a Ford F650 or F750.
