I agree but that just me. I have read of many that are very satisfied with there aftermarket units.
I splurged for a built in genset which is not really a financially sensible option but I wanted it and am happy.
A poster jut mentioned how happy they are with there new cord wheel which is a another one of those pricey options.
There is no right or wrong answer, when it come to financially sensible accessories. We all have different wants, needs , budgets and camping styles.
Not to mention some of the options reduce the amount of physical assertion required to set up and use the RV, which is a real wild card factor for many that is hard to put a value on.
