Best way to remove pine tree sap from rubber roof

Spent a week at a campground in Wisconsin and now my rubber roof is covered in super sticky sap spots. I don't think your suppose to use anything with petroleum in it so what is my options? I have nev...

Read some of the other posts in the link above and leaving it on there is not an option I'm going with. So far rubbing alcohol is doing a good job but its slow. I'm cleaning off and reapplying a fresh coat of 303 right behind the cleaning.
