Why would you not care about over loading your axles, tires and wheel bearings on your trailer? I hope that when you blow one of your tires from exceeding their gross weight and role your trailer over no one else is close enough to get hurt.
Who said that I didn't care about my safety or anyone else's? If I didn't, I would have never even posted the question or response. I would have just added the tanks, and went about my business on down the road like so many other people out there. Check my response,..."I don't really worry about carrying around all that extra weight because MY TRUCK IS VERY CAPABLE OF HANDLING IT." I tow with a converted Class 8 truck. That's why it's capable,...therefore, another four or five hundred pounds of weight is not gonna make a difference for me, as far as towing like it does to others. I did mention possibly upgrading the axles too. When i look at my weigh scale tickets, and see that even when i'm loaded with my Teryx 4, I'm still 3000 lbs below for my axle ratings. So "when I blow one of my tires from exceeding their gross," I find that highly unlikely. I own the same type of pickup that you own. Mine's an '06 instead, and I still own it, but decided to upgrad to a more capable truck because I do care about yours, mine, and the safety of others out there on the road.
