Bird in the pin box
Seems like every spring it's me vs the birds. They are persistent about trying to build a nest in the pin box of our 5er. Has any one else fought this battle? What do you do to prevent this?

- After fighting the birds, then my wife over the destruction of the nest. I now take a plastic leaf bag and stuff it with crumpled newspaper. When ever we are not "on the road" I stuff the bag up into the pinbox. There is not room for both, so the birds leave me alone.
- had my first encounter with this a couple of weeks ago. I went to pull out my cord and a dove flew into my face. Scared the bejesus out of me!
- I stuffed an old bed pillow sealed in a plastic bag into the pin box.
- Hardware cloth.
