Black Tank Won't Empty

To the OP: Buy a bottle of liquid Calgon water softener at Walmart (laundry aisle).
Dump half in the tank. Fill tank with about 10 gallons of water, (even better if you can use hot water via a bucket through the toilet). Let sit with some waste digester for 2-3 days. Then take it to the dump station. The Calgon will soften everything and make the solids and anything else stuck there loosen up and flow out. We had this happen to us in the two previous new-to-us fifth wheels. Our first weekend out, I put the Calgon in and we only were gone 2 nights and boy when we went to the dump station, I knew we were flushing way too much for our weekend.
To the poster who doesn't use the toilet in the Rv for "solids', I find that really odd, as this is what the toilet is for and your black tank maintained properly will be fine.
