The distance from center of kingpin to RH corner is ~1.75" more than the LH corner. That fully explains why i hit unexpectedly.
Really sucks but I should have tested it both ways for clearance when i first hitched up the unit.
Now to see how much a rear window costs!

I recently changed from a SuperGlide auto slide to a Reese manual. Your post concerns me. I'm already a little edgy on this change and this didn't give me a warm fuzzy at all.
