There all made over there now.
At one time years ago several major USA tire mfg produced them. They are a niche tire so production was very small compared to the big picture.
As time went along they were dropped simply because the manufacture had better tires for the public to use or at least thats what BFG story was to their dealers.

Anyhow we got down to made in the USA Cooper/Goodyear and Carlisle. Now all three are made in china or other asian rim countries.

Best bet is a LT if you can find one that fits or one of the multi position tires if they fit your requirements. They are fast becoming popular with all types of trailer owners.

1. Can you provide full DOT serial. With that info we can tell the company that actually made the tires.

2. Can you post clear close-up pictures of the tire and failed area? With that info I might be able to help all to understand what the actual failure, and possible cause, was. If we don't learn the real cause then the "corrective" action we take may not address the real cause.

The ONLY correct reply there is! Replace them and move on. This goes for the other person that has the same junk on their trailer, don't wait for them to destroy your trailer, just get rid of them now. The factory and the tire manufacturer aren't going to help. They will weasel out of it somehow...

Here we go again! $50,000 RV's being sold with $75 tires made by a company no one has heard of! Quality tires made by a reputable tire company should be a condition of purchase!

The only way to stop this shameful activity is to stop buying RV's that have these junk tires installed on them from the factory. As of yet I don't know how to inform future RV owners who are not members of forums such as RV.net. Dealers should be required to post a warning sign at their front door and entrance. Ethical dealers should not/would not sell a RV with these junk tires.

Went to La Mesa Rv this morning and they went me to go through my insurance. I told them that I should not be out 500.00 deductible on a 8 month old rig and that was unacceptable. They are now going to send pictures to Winnebago and see what happens. Not happy.
