I filed a claim with my insurance company (Allstate) last week for damage caused by a blown tire ( cheap 15" ST tires) At first the adjuster wanted to file under collision coverage, 1/2 hour later she called me back and after speaking with here supervisor it was in fact a comp claim and would be covered as such.
I am currently in the process of replacing the complete suspension with dexter 6000 axles, springs, lifting the unit 3" with a sub-frame and BFG Commercial TA tires on 16" hi-spec wheels
IMHO 5200lb suspension under a unit with a 11,600lb gvw is just not heavy enough.
