Blowout damage. What are these wires and metal piece?

I had a blowout on the side under a slide. I am attaching pictures of wiring that was damaged. Fortunately, it didn't destroy the underside of the floor/belly/slide, but did destroy some wiring and a ...

I can't see your pictures, but the metal piece is probably to to keep the slide out wires at same height, when slide out is retracted or the excess would be hanging down when slide out is retracted. My current trailer, has a plastic arm, which takes care of this.
