Blue Ox 5th Wheel Hitch BXR6200

In the last issue of Trailer Life, there was an advertisement for Blue Ox, 5th Wheel Hitch BXR6200.

I have spent countless hours trying to find customer reviews, to no avail. I'm wondering if Trailer Life can help me with information on the hitch. Is it as good as advertised? Good? Bad? Is it to new to know the ins and outs?

    If you are looking at the BXR 6200 then the B&W Companion, not the Patriot, would be the equivalent. I presume you have a gooseneck ball rather than rails. The problem is the Companion doesn't slide nor does it have head cushioning. The Blue Ox Super Ride does more than the B&W. I don't believe you will find a review on this forum nor have I seen a single report from a user. There have been some inquiries. The concept is intriguing and Blue Ox components are generally good performers. If you take the lead and jump please get back as to your thoughts. I know it would be on my short list if I had a short bed truck.
